There’s always time to learn with Knowledge Line Teleconference Seminars from EFOHCA.

EOHCA will be offering a monthly 1-hour teleconference the third Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. These telephone conferences give you and your staff the opportunity to participate without leaving your own facility.

The perfect way to compliment or fulfill your in-service training requirements

FAST -
No wasted time here. Get right to the heart of the matter in a 11/2-hour block designed to easily fit into your busy schedule.

CONVENIENT -
No travel. No time out of the office. Listen from the comfort and convenience of your desk or training room.

EASY -
A telephone is all the equipment you need. Just dial in, punch in your access code, and you're in. That's it. Follow along with the audio conference handouts provided in advance.

IDEAL FOR MULTIPLE LISTENERS -
Use a speakerphone and as many people as you want can listen in - at no extra cost to you. Many professionals use these sessions as a cost-efficient, time-efficient means of training supervisors, managers, and staff and reinforcing key issues in a fresh new manner that they will remember and act on.

AFFORDABLE -
Priced at $50 per location, it is a fraction of the cost of travel and attendance fees for other high-priced conferences or seminars.

CEUS:
For Administrators and Nurses. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

What to expect:
Imagine listening to the radio or listening to a cd but also being able to ask the person a question. That’s what this teleconference will be like.

How it will work:
First your facility must send in a registration form. Upon receipt of the registration, EFOHCA will email the toll-free telephone number and access code for your contact person at the facility to enter the call as well as any handout materials and continuing education request forms. The number and access code is valid only for the location registered with OHCA. Any additional locations calling in will be billed for the teleconference registration fee. At the end of the one-hour presentation, an operator will assist you in asking the presenter questions. 30 minutes have been set aside for your questions.

Continuing Education Credits:
The programs will be approved for one (1.0) hour of credit for nursing home administrators and nurses. Individual attendance will be monitored throughout the call. Only those attending the entire call will be awarded continuing education credit. Upon receipt of your request for continuing education form, certificates will be mailed to the facility following the program.

How much does it cost?
OHCA/OCAL member facilities will pay just $50 for an unlimited number of participants. The number and access code is valid only for the location (telephone #) registered with OHCA. Any additional locations (telephone #’s) calling in will be billed for the teleconference registration fee.

Have a conflict the day or time of the call or just want other shifts to be able to hear the program? Each program will be recorded and a cd-rom along with the handouts will be available for purchase after the programs.
